Recreation & Community Development Class of 2017

This is the graduating class of the Recreation and Community Development Program of 2017. Some may say the night was incredible and stress free. However, for our students they were still working even on the night of their grad. Graduation is one of the events for a group of the class to host for the Event Management class. There were three events for semester four. 1. Campus Collision. 2. Wintershines Taster Event. And 3. Awards & Recognition Night. Although maybe picking awards and recognition night seems risky to take on because you do not want to have to deal with the stress of putting it together the night of.. but, you do get to see the results of what you learnt in the 2 years of attending the program. Event planning is a major part of this program. This awards and recognition night is one to remember. The casino royale theme had everything from fancy named drinks, cards, casino, silhouettes, red bows, red roses, glittering jewels, black and white, red lights, show girls, and bond music. Everything was planned out so well. The food was great, the speakers and MC's were on que, videos played and the night was flawless. Everything that goes into this night pays off from the 2 years in this diploma. You feel like you accomplished something huge. Which is a feeling you will never forget... Some of us cannot wait to see what the next program comes up with.
